THE LEWIS MIGHTY FUND
Midland Building Plastics (Derby) are currently raising Money for 'The Lewis Mighty Fund' that was recently featured on Secret Millionaire. Four-year-old Lewis Paul Mighty, was sadly diagnosed with Stage 4 High Risk Neuroblastoma (a very rare form of cancer) in October 2008 when he was just three years old.
Devastatingly, Neuroblastoma has only a 20% chance of being cured in Europe making it one of the deadliest forms of child cancers. Although Lewis has been undergoing intensive treatment since his diagnosis, the immunotherapy treatment he so desperately needs is only available at the Memorial-Sloan Kettering Cancer Clinic in New York City.
The Mighty family have been working extremely hard to raise the £300,000 needed to make this life saving trip possible for their son, and to show our support Derby MBP have placed a collection box on the counter.
